Children's Book

I have been writing this children's book for a long time now and it has gone through a lot of changes, but I think that is what comes with life and experience.  When I was 12 years old I started to keep a journal filled with my hopes, dreams, and all that I aspired to be.  This book went though a lot of changes through those years of adolescence.  I was just learning and finding out who I was.  Which I think is hard for so many young girls; and through this book I hope I can be that example of that young girl who went though those same struggles and changes, but we all have something to look forward to no matter how hard it can be.  The story begin's of how this little girls dream began and how she asked her mother if God could see her dreams.  This question gave her faith and an understanding of how important our dreams are to us.  This little girl knew from a very young age that she wanted to be something more, but it was hard for her to describe what she meant by that.  Though out the book it tells of her struggles and the certain points in her life when she felt defeated, but she never gave up faith or hope.  Those traits were instilled in her and she had so many people that believed in her.  She knew that one day she knew her childhood dream would come true...  She was meant to be a voice, an inspiration, and a hope for others to look to.

I am working with an illustrator, Ben Gin, who has worked with Julia Davis Park, Boise Zoo, Idaho Farm Bureau, Simplot, and Micron, just to name a few.  He is a local Boise Artist, and owns his own AD business called, BenGinTV.  "A Little Girls Dream" is expected to be published and released--Summer of 2013.
